About VZ 58

The VZ 61 Skorpion is a compact 7.65×17mm (also known as .32 ACP) submachine gun developed in Czechoslovakia in the late 1950s and officially adopted in 1961. Known for its unique design and versatility, it was originally intended for use by security forces, vehicle crews, and special units requiring a lightweight, concealable automatic firearm. The VZ 61’s compact frame, integrated folding stock, and select-fire capability make it a highly maneuverable weapon, ideal for close-quarters situations. Today, it stands as an iconic model of Czech firearm engineering.
