We successfully mounted AK grips using longer screws (M6 x 35mm Socket Head Cap) from following manufacturers: US Palm, Strike Industries and Magpul.
The same can be achieved with little bit of modifying (milling) if you want to use original shorter screw, that is supplied with the grip.
